Duolingo!

Que pasa?
Como estas?
This week I will be talking about how we've been doing in Duolingo.
A few weeks ago Ms Bolger introduced us to the website called Duolingo, to help us learn how to speak Spanish.

I have enjoyed doing Duolingo so far because I have learned lots of Spanish words and it is not too hard for me to understand either. I also like how the website tells you how fluent you are in Spanish and that they give you ingots( ingame spending money ) to buy stuff.

Spanish is also quite similar to Pilipino since the Spaniards colonised the Philippines for 300 years, hence the Spanish influence! This makes it easier for me to learn some of the words.

I feel that Duolingo has actually helped me to learn Spanish and this is good because we are also learning Spanish in class it also helps that it makes me revise what you learnt.

For those who are new or struggling in Duolingo, I advise you to do Duolingo as often as you can an to revise what you learnt. Also keep your streak going to keep your 'skill' up in activities.

That's all for the week peeps! See you next time and...........................yea!:

Cooking fever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello food lovers! Welcome back to my blog! This week is a special edition blog post about my activity in tech.

I know what brought all of you here, it's obviously our love of food(or you have nothing else to do). I know I love food, sometimes I like eating the food my parents cook more than I like cooking and eating my food, (I know you do too so don't hide it). Enough talk about YOU loving food, lets get on to what the blog post is really about.

SO.......................................................................................................................................................
Cooking.
Cooking was the activity in tech I got into. So far I have only made one thing: bread with tomato paste, onions and cheese. I was the only one who didn't pick chocolate-chip bread. To me what we are doing next is a mystery but I'm hoping we'll be cooking some great tasting food and I'm sure we will!

The other activities I'm most looking forward to are sewing and technology; sewing because we'll be making a big stuffed toy for ourselves( I'm a big stuffed toy fan) and technology because we get to make our own remote control car!

But back to cooking sometimes my cooking doesn't work out properly or it doesn't look 'great' or it smells really bad so it's good that our parents our here to lend us a hand by cooking 'some' of our meals( By some, you can probably tell I mean practically all of them) and usually they're the best thing you've ever tasted so this explains the meme at the bottom (HAHA, BOTTOM!) :

Keep cooking, never give up unless you get told:
every time you 'cook' Maggie 2 minute noodle soup.

Peace!

Start of the school year!

The holidays are over and now it's time to get our game on and study hard at school.

The past weeks have been really fun with dodge ball, tech and swimming and I've had time to meet my new classmates. The task system is fun as usual. I am getting better at managing my time with tasks although it is a bit challenging. I feel like I know some people better and I get together well with my table group.

Now I'm going to list down some food I like because that's all I  can think of writing:
.sushi
.pizza
.curry
.burgers
.chicken
.pie
.etc.
.basically I like a lot of food.

That's all I've got for now people of the world. If you have any food you like or a random thing you want to type in, you can type it in the comment box below. A comment is good too!

Bye!
